Yanagi Matsutake
Originally found growing wild on tea tree stumps in Asia, these elegant clusters are a delightful addition to our urban farm family. With their light brown caps and slender stems, the Yanagi Matsutake offers a uniquely crisp texture that holds up beautifully in cooking. What sets them apart is their naturally sweet, delicate flavor with subtle notes of fresh pine and a hint of nuttiness.
- Taste : Sweet, mild, with pine-like freshness
- Texture : Distinctively crunchy, snappy, maintains crispness even when cooked
Keep mushrooms in their paper packaging and refrigerated until ready for cooking. Our mushrooms taste best when consumed within 5 days from receiving them.
While our mushrooms are cultivated under clean environments and handled with gloves, we recommend giving them a quick wash and drying them thoroughly with paper towels just before cooking.
Avoid soaking mushrooms in water as they can absorb too much moisture and become soggy.
